This Sunday
· Pastor Mike continues preaching from the Minor Prophet, Joel, on Sunday, focusing on chapter 2 and chapter 3, verses 17-20. His title is “God is the Measure of a Ministry.”
· We will officially install Jaysson Gurwell as associate pastor at Crossroad Church during our morning worship service.
· Following Sunday School, please join us for a church potluck. Please bring a main dish and either a side dish or dessert to share.
· A community Open House will be held from 1:30 – 3 p.m. to welcome Pastor Jaysson to the community. Feel free to invite your friends and family.
Baby news!
Congratulations to Matthew and Lori Wiese on the birth of their daughter, Lauren Rose, on Wednesday, February 17. Lauren weighed 9 pounds, 11 ounces and was 21 ¾ inches long. We rejoice with Matthew and Lori on this precious gift of life!
Sportsman’s Retreat
Men, if you are getting a case of cabin fever and need a break, consider joining other men at Hidden Acres Christian Center for their 20th annual Sportsman’s Retreat, held March 26 – 28. For more information or to register, visit their Web site.
Greeters wanted
We are looking for volunteers to help with a very important ministry at Crossroad Church. The greeters are usually the first people that visitors will see when they come to Crossroad. And they provide a warm welcome to all of us in the Crossroad family. You may choose the Sundays that work best for you – and decide how often you’d like to volunteer. We will provide training for those who may be first-time greeters. If you are interested in helping or would like more information, please contact Jake Bates.
Office schedule
Lynne will be out of the church office beginning Thursday, February 25 and returning on Thursday, March 4. If you need anything from the church office, please let her know by Monday, February 22. There will be no Crossroad Online next week as a result of her absence and the bulletin and song sheet will not be on line.
