History of Crossroad Church

Crossroad Church was founded in 1994.  A small contingent from the Earlham, Iowa area had been attending Valley Church in West Des Moines, Iowa, in the early 1990s, when they sensed God’s leading to begin a new work in Earlham. 

Crossroad Church held its first public worship service in March 1994 in the Earlham school.  Pastor Mike Evans began serving as the first full-time pastor of Crossroad Church in December 1995.

On Christmas Eve 2005, Crossroad Church held its first worship service in its new facility.
