Welcome! We extend a warm welcome to anyone visiting with us today. We pray that you will be blessed and God would be glorified as we worship together. We invite you to stay for fellowship time after the service.
Fall Small Group Bible Studies: Small group studies will begin next Sunday evening. See the sign-up sheets on the table near the sanctuary door for a list of the upcoming small group studies with subjects, hosts, times and locations.
Sunday School Begins: The fall session of Sunday School at Crossroad Church begins next Sunday, September 12 following fellowship time. The adult Sunday School class will continue the study, “The Way of the Master” with Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron for the first 5-6 weeks. See the Crossroad Online newsletter for details of the other classes.
Make-up Session for Directory Photos: If you missed the opportunities to have your photo taken for the upcoming directory, there will be one make-up session scheduled for next Sunday, September 12 during fellowship time. Or you may send a digital photo to the Kruegers – tom@kruegerfamily.net. Deadline for submitting your own digital photo is Monday, September 13.
Youth Meeting: The Wednesday evening youth meetings will begin on September 15 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. with a series on how to read and study the Bible effectively. Questions, see Pastor Jaysson.
Past Sunday School Workbooks: Parents, please check the table near the front door and help yourselves to any of your children’s workbooks from last year’s Sunday School season.
Subs and Sundaes: Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 19 following Sunday School for “Subs and Sundaes on Sunday” around noon at the Earlham City Park. Please bring an ingredient (meat, cheese, topping) for the sub and either a salad or ice cream topping to share. Bread and ice cream will be provided. PLEASE RSVP if you are coming so we will have an accurate count for the meal.
Men and Boys’ Ministry and Outreach: Paintball fun begins on Saturday, September 25 at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast at the church. Leave for the Knapp residence at 8:30 a.m. and enjoy paintball from 9 a.m. – noon. If you have any paintball guns – or for questions, please see Pastor Jaysson.
Meal Help: We are looking for some additional help to make meals for the families who are expecting babies yet this year. If you are willing to serve in this area, please contact Lynne.
